At Saint John's there is a long history of people with a passion for Social Justice.  Over many years, people have campaigned for Justice to be taken seriously and we hear afresh the prophets' calls to strive for Justice and challenge the oppression of peoples in our world.

Our clamour for Justice works itself out in acts of prayer, but also campaigning.  We are proud to be a fair-trade church and always seek to use fairly traded goods when we can, such as our tea and coffee after Mass on Sundays.

We also have a Social Justice Team who ensure that we keep Social Justice high on our agenda and work to make God's Kingdom ever more a reality in our midst.
